Viamente knows the way to reduce the driving time to a minimum. It' not the link between two points, it's the shortest route to visit all your destinations.

Save money
Driving time directly affects Opex: fuel, manpower, maintenance, risks. It also supports Capex decisions: don't buy a new vehicle, we'll enhance the productivity of your current fleet.

Save the planet
One move and we'll reduce your carbon footprint and the pollution generated by your activities. Business, out of your social responsibility? Yes.
Where does a bottle of water come from? We’re astonished to realize that fijian bottled water is widely sold in the US and we don’t like this. We can’t figure reasons why trucks and boats should consume tons of petrol to move water around the world. Where do the vegetables in your dish come from? Hard to tell, uh? Yet, the higher and higher price of zucchini demonstrates that there are too many steps in the supply chain of fresh food logistics to date.
Along with the expectation of Expo2015 theme, we trust that a sustainable development starts from innovation in food distribution in full respect of cultural and ethnic value of culinary traditions. We thus offer an end-to-end logistic platform in order to pick up vegetables from farmers who are close to the city and to deliver door to door fresh orders. No stocks, no inflated prices, no quality compromises, zero food miles in other words not a mile more than necessary to pick up and deliver. How does it work? Our platform compare demand with offer and outputs the best tour of small-size vans in order to collect and distribute vegetables directly to the consumer.

Keep an eye on our favorite topics by reading here with us.

Waste collection trucks daily generate heavy emissions, pollution, traffic, noise, and many other economic and social costs.
It is quite apparent that using algorithms for routing optimization can save time and all related costs (…and the planet, we won’t stop pointing this out) as good algorithms can compute the shortest path for full collection.
This is not enough. Our strategy is to equip bins with M2M modules that hourly detect level of replenishment and send wireless notifications on their status directly to our dynamic algorithms: fresh optimized tours will be delivered every morning, along with milk and newspaper! A couple of marginal notes:1. break even = 6 months 2. ROI and social benefit: obvious.

Bus pooling

We’re located in Milan, Italy.
Whoever lives in Italy has clear understanding that 22% of population commutes daily for an average timeframe higher than 42 minutes (per journey) and that more than 70% of commuters use their private car (source: Censis as of 2008)
What can we do? We can aggregate the demand of daily job commuting in crews of medium-sized buses and compute best tours to pick up and deliver workers with the net-net result of 1 bus on the road instead of some 20 cars. Plus, no-stress Google News mobile browsing to the way to work… If you’re excited by the continuous improvement of algorithms that dynamically compute the best trade-off among quality of service and costs in dispersed distributions, contact us for a job.
